Bloomsburg Falls to New York Institute of Technology (NYIT)

OLD WESTBURY, NY -- The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team lost to the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) on Tuesday by a 2-1 score.

NYIT got on the board just 1:39 into the contest when Christopher Maye scored. The home team made it 2-0 in the 24th minute when Frank Spanos scored.

Bloomsburg broke through in the 41st minute when Mike Jones (Paoli/Great Valley) scored after picking up a loose ball on a free kick and drilling it home.

Bloomsburg falls to 0-4, while NYIT goes to 1-1. The Huskies host Millersville on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
